Your options
Stagecoach Options
Each player has their own options. Open them with the Config button next to Stagecoach in the Mods list (Forge and NeoForge) or in Mod Menu (Fabric).
| Option | On by default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Simplified loading screen | no | While travelling, show a map with both stops and your marker instead of the road scene |
| Minimal loading screen | no | While travelling, show only the sign, the progress bar and Cancel; wins over the map |
| Other stops on the map | yes | Mark the other stagecoaches you know as small dots on the travel map |
| Placement preview | yes | Show a ghost of the coach where it would go while you hold one |
| Discovery effects | yes | Road dust, lantern embers and a road-sign card when you discover a stop |
| Discovery horn | yes | The coachman’s horn when you discover a stop (needs Discovery effects) |
| Placement effects | yes | Road dust and a creak of tack when a stagecoach is placed near you |
The effects also follow your video settings’ particle level. A server can show everyone the same travel screen; the options then say This server always shows the … travel screen.
Some servers and modpacks give the road a look of their own: other landscapes, a different picture per region, their own sounds.
Advancements
A Stagecoach tab with four advancements:
| Advancement | How |
|---|---|
| On the Road | Place a stagecoach |
| Fare Paid | Finish a journey by stagecoach |
| Well Travelled | Discover 10 stagecoach stops |
| The Long Road | Finish one journey of 10,000 blocks or more |
The statistics screen counts your Stagecoach Journeys, Blocks Travelled by Stagecoach, Stagecoach Stops Discovered and Stagecoaches Placed.
