Village stops
Every village has a coach stop, built in the wood of the village’s own houses: oak in the plains, jungle wood in the desert, acacia in the savanna, spruce in the snow and the taiga. Zombie villages get one too.
It’s a real stop, ready to use:
- It has a name that fits the place: “Frostholm Crossing”, “Brookcote”, “Hawkstrand Stop”.
- It belongs to the server, so nobody owns it and nobody can break it (unless your server allows that).
- You discover it like any other stop: right-click the coach.
So a new world fills with stops as you explore. Find a few villages and you have a road network before you’ve built a coach of your own.
Villages from other mods
Villages from these mods get a stop too, in their own wood:
- Repurposed Structures
- ChoiceTheorem’s Overhauled Village
- Towns and Towers
- Integrated Villages
- Dungeons and Taverns (its villages; its taverns get one now and then, named like an inn: “The Lucky Badger Inn”)
- Luki’s Grand Capitals (its rebuilt plains, desert, savanna, snowy and taiga villages, on Minecraft 1.20.1 to 1.21.11)
A handful of tiny Towns and Towers settlements, a single building with no street, have no room for one.
No coach in your village?
- It was there before Stagecoach. Stops are built when a village first generates, so villages in parts of the world you’d already explored before installing Stagecoach have none. New ones do.
- Your server switched them off. A server can turn village stops off altogether.
- It’s a tavern or an outpost, not a village (see above).
